Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky, the “destination concert experience” taking place in Mexico at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, returns December 2-6. The lineup includes Wilco, Father John Misty, Sylvan Esso, Lucinda Williams, Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, Jeff Tweedy, Built To Spill, Makaya McCraven, Cate Le Bon, Bartees Strange, Autumn Defense, Eucademix, and Mint Field.
“Sky Blue Sky is something we feel lucky to be able to do, and look forward to every time we put one together,” Jeff Tweedy said in a statement. “We love sharing music with our friends and we love getting together with everyone under the sun. It’s nice to get out from under the clouds once in a while.”
During last year’s installment of Sky Blue Sky, Wilco joined the lineup with Spoon, Kurt Vile, Thundercat, Waxahatchee and Stephen Malkmus. Both the band and the promoter were forced to respond to refund requests due to concerns about the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
