Big Thief were the musical guests on last night’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. At the Ed Sullivan Theater, they debuted with a song called “Vampire Empire,” their first since New Warm Mountain Dragon I Believe in You. Watch it happen below.
This week’s performance followed a remotely filmed rendition of “Simulation Swarm” last year. The band has recently toured behind New Warm Mountain Dragon I Believe in You; they have European dates scheduled in April with more North American shows in July and August.
