Today, US psychedelic rocker The Flaming Lips have announced a new series of tour dates to host a special presentation of their seminal album. Yoshimi fights against the pink robots in its entirety in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the LP’s release.
The tour will see the band perform across the UK and North America, kicking off with a performance at the Troxy in London on April 25. They will make stops in cities including Nashville, Tennessee, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Tulsa, Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, and more. The tour will conclude at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Mont., on August 25.
In particular, two highly sought after EPs from The Flaming Lips- wrestling test and Ego Stumbling at the Gates of HellIt will be available on limited edition vinyl for the first time on March 17 and can be pre-ordered here. while the 6 CD/5 LP box set Yoshimi Fights the Pink Robots: 20th Anniversary Edition It will arrive on April 14.
