The Flaming Lips Add Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 20th Anniversary Tour Dates

The Flaming Lips have extended the 20th anniversary celebration of their 2002 album Yoshimi fights against the pink robots, adding several more shows in the United States where they will play their well-known LP in its entirety. Consult the complete program with those previously announced Yoshimi dates below.

Last year, Flaming Lips reissued Yoshimi with B-sides and other previously unreleased material on an expansive CD set, followed by a 5xLP vinyl on April 14. New vinyl editions of the band’s EPs wrestling test and Ego Stumbling at the Gates of Hell It arrives on March 17.

after issuing american head in 2020, the band issued The Smooth Newsletter Companiona collection of alternative tracks and other material recorded between 1997 and 1999. They are set to perform at Boston Calling alongside Paramore, Foo Fighters, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more in late May.
