Today, My Morning Jacket announced a series of new dates for an upcoming headlining tour of the United States. The tour dates, which run from mid-May to the end of August, join a schedule already developed for the American rock band that includes headlining performances in the UK and Europe, appearances at festivals around the world and his three-night stint with Fleet Foxes. set for southern California.
The quintet, comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jim James, bassist Tom Blankenship, drummer Patrick Hallahan, guitarist Carl Broemel, and keyboardist Bo Koster, will kick off their new U.S. dates at the Saenger Theater in Mobile, Alabama, on May 14 and will continue with a famous two-night return to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison Colo. on August 25 and 26.
The My Morning Jackets festival program includes stops at Primavera Sounds in Spain and Portugal, Guadalajara in Mexico, Peach Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and FloydFest in Floyd, Virginia. His run with the Fleet Foxes will see them visit the Greek Theater in Berkeley, California on August 18 and 19 and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 20. See the full tour schedule below.
