Guitar icon Eric Clapton has announced a short North American tour scheduled to kick off in September. The impending set will see the acclaimed musician perform four shows in the United States and a concert in Canada in the coming months.
Clapton’s band for the North American dates will include Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, Sonny Emory and Chris Stainton, with Sharon White and Katie Kissoon providing backing vocals.
The tour will kick off on September 8 at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena before the Great White North’s only date, which will take place at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on September 10. Clapton’s excursion will continue with a show on September 12 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Staying in the Midwest, the “Wonderful Tonight” singer will perform at the Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis on September 14, ahead of the band’s final tour date, which will take place on September 16 at Ball Arena in denver.
