Alta Music Festival has announced the lineup of artists for its 2023 event, which will take place on September 23 and 24 in Avila Beach, California. Located at the seaside Avila Beach Resort, the festival will bring together several esteemed musicians for a weekend of live music in the sun. On Saturday, Sublime with Rome will dish out a full rendition of Sublime’s iconic 1992 LP, 40 ounces To Freedom. On Sunday, the reggae-rock outfit Dirty Heads will headline the bill.
Other artists performing on Saturday include The Tribal Seeds, Bones Thugs N Harmony, Tropidelic and Schwayze. Sunday will see additional appearances from California-based rapper E-40, Pepper, Rome & Duddy, and Coyote Island. See the full current lineup and schedule updates here.
Alta will partner with Operation Surf, a nonprofit that promotes nature-based healing for veterans and active duty military, for this year’s festival. A portion of the proceeds from the event will help support the nonprofit organization’s mission to “channel the healing powers of the ocean to restore hope, renew purpose, and revitalize the community.”
