Yesterday afternoon, Bruce Springsteen announced that his concert with the E Street Band scheduled for Tuesday, March 14 at the MVP Arena in Albany, NY, has been postponed. This is the third show in a row that has been postponed due to illness.
The Sunday afternoon message to fans and supporters, which was delivered via Twitter, read: “Due to illness, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band concert at MVP Arena in Albany on Tuesday, March 14 has been postponed. We are working to reschedule the date so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled show.”
The aforementioned concert is the third show in a row that The Boss has postponed. Initially, Springsteen pushed his concert that was scheduled for March 9 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and later postponed the March 12 concert at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, as well.
Following the steady stream of postponements, E Street Band guitarist Stevie Van Zandt responded to a fan via Twitter, offering: “No need to be anxious or scared. Nothing serious. Just a temporary situation. We will all be back in full force very soon.”
