Boygenius will perform at the Tibet House US benefit concert tomorrow night (March 1). In addition to Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, this year’s edition of the Carnegie Hall concert also features performances by Philip Glass (event artistic director), Arooj Aftab, New Order’s Bernard Sumner and Tom Chapman, Laurie Anderson , Gogol Bordello , and more.
Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard and Arden Wohl will be the honorary chairs of the evening. Bridgers has played the annual event twice before, in 2020 (with Iggy Pop and Patti Smith, among others) and 2021 (with Brittany Howard, Eddie Vedder and more). Boygenius prepares to release his debut album, the recordand started with three songs: “$20”, “Emily I’m Sorry”, and “True Blue”.
